MARCH 8^th MEETING SCHEDULE:

Johnny Rodriguez from Sea Chem will speak on his company’s products and hopefully be a raffle contributor.

Scott Fellman, who was bumped from the February meeting, will show us the DOs and DON’Ts of Aquascaping our reefs. Bring your questions because Scott is one of MASLAC’s experts.

The All New MASLAC FORUM http://www.maslac.org/phpbb/index.php. Thanks to Greg B we have a full-blown internet forum. You don’t have to be a member to log on. And if you are a member, log on and see what’s going on in your club and participate in the threads. It can only make our group better informed and more fun. Ken L is keeping a watchful eye on the chat and keeping it a pleasurable, informative place to be. So LOG ON today.

MAX SHOW APRIL 5^TH and 6^TH

We need volunteers to staff the MAX booth and sell raffle tickets, give out MASLAC literature and be a representative of our club. If you are going to MAX, volunteer some of your time to spend at our booth – WE NEED STAFFERS April 5^th and 6^th. Email Rich to volunteer.

BOWLING TOURNAMENT WITH LAFF: MAY 4^th

Sign up today at ghaas@socal.rr.com for your chance to be part of the FIRST ANNUAL MASLAC vs LAFF bowling tournament. We’ve got a Private Bowling Alley for this tourney. We need 16 bowlers to compete against LAFF and crush their balls in this first annual event. SIGN UP TODAY. $20 per bowler.

FARMERS CORAL MARKET: FEBRUARY 24^th

If you haven’t been to this event, you’re missing a great time. This is their third year. I’ve been there all three years and always came home with something fantastic. This year, Rich has arranged for $12 tickets for MASLAC – at the door $30. So if you missed it this year, keep our eyes out for next year’s event.**********

SPRING TANK TOUR: APRIL 12^th

We need volunteers for our Spring Tank Tour. MASLAC’s Fall Tank Tour was such a rousing success; we’re planning an April event to start off the California summer season.

Volunteer to be an exhibitor in our spring event. So far we have one tank. We need around five or so to make it a full day. Who’s up to show off his/her reef??? Email me. Include you name and address so we can plan the route.
